The elections on Sierra Leone took place on 7th of March 2018, and Rondine Cittadella della Pace Alumni (known as Rondine International Peace Lab) were all over the country mobilizing the population on peaceful and democratic elections. These activities took place through an 18 month project  “Initiative for Democratic and Peaceful Elections in Sierra Leone” which aims to prepare the population of Sierra Leone for an election environment free of violence. After a year of training to the trainers and leaders all over Sierra Leone, our alumni together with our activists held a large scale face to face campaign, where they talked face to face with citizens promoting the message of the project. Moreover, on the day of the election, Rondine Cittadella della Pace alumni, together with other activists (trained and prepared by our alumni) where present on situation rooms, to monitor the election process.
